GRINNELL — The STC boys golf team traveled to Grinnell on Monday, May 4, to participate in the WaMaC West Divisional meet. Playing at the Grinnell College Golf Course, the Trojans were led by an eighth place finish from junior Ayden Wobeter.

Also competing for the Trojans were: senior Garrett Surman, junior Michael Henry, sophomore Luke Schlabaugh, and freshmen Grant Dolezal and Dalton Surman.

STC finished in fifth place as a team among a field of six teams in the western division of the WaMaC conference. Grinnell won the meet (314), followed by Williamsburg (339), Clear Creek-Amana (356), Vinton-Shellsburg (360), STC (362), and Benton (373).

Up next for the boys golf team will be the STC Invite on Friday, May 8, at the Tama/Toledo Country Club. This will be followed by the WaMaC Conference Super Meet on Monday, May 11, in Solon. That meet will include all 12 WaMaC teams from both the eastern and western divisions.
