Aureon to Host Meet and Greet in Tama

Tama – Representatives from Aureon, a fiber optic Internet provider and IT services company, will host a meet and greet in Pocket Park on September 21.

Area businesspeople are invited to stop by between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to learn more about the company’s high-speed Internet offerings and IT support services. There will also be an opportunity to register for door prizes.

“We’re excited to tell people about our highspeed business Internet packages,” said Todd Van Epps, Director of Shareholder and Public Relations. “The fact that our fiber optic line runs right through the business districts of both Tama and Toledo might be the best kept secret in Tama County!”

Van Epps further explained that Aureon manages the largest fiber optic network in the state of Iowa, with more than 4,400 miles of fiber optic cable crisscrossing the state. “Aureon worked with the cities of Tama and Toledo to expand the network through the towns to create a more reliable connection for wireless companies. The offshoot is that Tama Toledo businesses have the opportunity to connect Aureon’s state-of-the-art network that runs literally right outside their doors!”
