Burgers, Beats, and Breezes is a free community cookout sponsored by Sunny Hill Care Center. The event will be held on Wednesday, September 9th from 3-7 p.m. in the grassy area on the south side of their facility. Rain date will be Wednesday, September 23rd.

Food will be served from 5-6:30 pm. The meal includes a choice of hamburger or hot dog, baked beans, potato chips, watermelon and drink. The Amish Pretzel Truck will also be there to purchase either savory or sweet pretzels.

Sound and fun will be provided by Cat Campbell Currier from 3-7. Tim Blocker will perform from 4-5 playing his guitar and singing. Billy an Irish Drummer, will have a sing-a-long from 5-6. You will be entertained by Birdy, a Nashville recording artist who will close out the event.

Other ongoing activities include a Tama-Toledo Trivia Contest, face painting, and Mary J. Tulip, a balloon artist. The games from the Tama City Trailer will be set up, along with People Bingo to help you mingle and learn about participants.

Parking will not be available on 17th Street so we encourage people to walk, run, bike or scooter to this fun community event. There will be an area to drop off passengers or your lawn chairs. This event is for everyone in the STC Community, so please come and share this time with your friends and make new ones.
