9 girls? No problem! The girls track team had a GREAT night at BGM on Friday with a 2nd place team finish and 108 points scored (beat the 3rd place team by 30 points)! The team had five 1st place finishes and five 2nd place finishes.

Grace Tahahwah finished 1st in both the 100m and 200m dash (each by at least 2-3 seconds); Tylen Garcia notched a 1st place finish with a heroic first ever 3000m; Danielle Seymour had a 1st place finish in the shot put (by 3 full feet); and Delicia Guevara gutted out the last 150 of a 1500m to sprint to a 1st place finish (and 7 seconds off her PR)! Danielle Seymour also had a 2nd place finish in the discus; the 4×200 of Addie, Delicia, Payton, & Grace notched a 2nd place; the 4×800 had a 2nd place finish (Marley, Payton, Windy, & Delicia); the 4×400 also took 2nd (Tylen, Marley, Windy, & Delicia); and Payton Tahahwah set a new high jump school record with a 4-06 for a 2nd place finish! Also, a shout out to Windy Blackcloud for her gold medal finish at Grundy Center on Thursday!
