Thoughts for 2015

Hard to believe that 2014 is winding down. 2015 is just around the corner and before you know it, we will be off and running. No time for a breather; no time for a rest. Are you a New Year’s Resolution Maker? Ok, some are, some aren’t. I’m not much either but I do like to stop for a moment or two, reflect on the past year and years and then make plans on doing a little better the coming year. Resolutions-nope; But thoughts-yepper. So here are some of my thoughts for 2015. Thoughts on what I plan to do or would like to do.
Sing in the shower. I sang one time and even the water stopped. But this year I will sing again.
Treat others the way you want to be treated. If only the world could live by this. Heck, if our leaders in Washington could do this!!
Tell those important people in your life that you love them. But don’t go up to strangers and do this!
Keep things simple. Don’t worry about things that out of your control. The song from “Unfrozen,” Let it go, let it go!!!
Every day make the effort to be positive, happy and enthusiastic. See if it makes any difference at all.
Say, “Please, Thank-You, I’m sorry, Excuse me and “Hey, let me buy your lunch today.” Oh, and forgive-especially yourself.
Remember people’s birthdays. Send a card or better yet, balloons. They will scratch their heads for days.
Take responsibility for yourself and your life. Stop blaming others, society, the way you were raised, etc. It gets you nowhere and we’re tired of hearing it.
News Flash: Life ain’t fair so stop mumbling and complaining when it isn’t. Deal with it.
Give several people a compliment every single day–and mean it. It’ll make their day.
Visit your parents, brothers/sisters and old friends you haven’t seen in a while.
Do something really wild–This year read the Bible in one year. Come on…do it!!
These are just a few of my thoughts. Never said I would get them all accomplished but at least I’m thinking about them. So how about you?
What are some of your thoughts for 2015? Love to hear them.
