ELBERON — The Elberon Area Women’s Club met June 17, 2024 with 4 members present.

President Norma Riha called the meeting to order. Secretary Amanda Nettesheim reported on the previous meeting in May. Financial status was discussed.

A thank-you from the Garry Krutzfeldt family for the memorial was received.

The flower watering schedule was added for the month of July.

The hostess schedule was completed for the rest of the year.

For the July 15 meeting the club will meet at the Elberon hall at 11 a.m. and look at the lawns in town to determine a winner of the “Prettiest Yard” contest. The winner gets two tickets for the Elberon Fire and Rescue Fish Fry. Following the placement of the winning sign, the group will go to Chelsea for a meal at the Silver Dollar Tavern.
