UnityPoint Health contest to give $25K and multiple prizes to area schools

Starting Sept. 17, area schools have been given a chance to win $25,000 from UnityPoint Health. The “Imagine the Amazing” online contest is open to K-12 schools within the 99 counties of Iowa and the primary counties served by UnityPoint Health in Illinois, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

“We have so many excellent schools within the UnityPoint Health Grinnell Regional Medical Center service area. This program is designed to fund school programs that align with our mission to improve the health of the people and communities we serve,” says Jennifer Havens, GRMC’s CEO. “You can find a link on the new GRMC website.”

The school with the most votes will win the grand prize of $25,000, which will be awarded at a You Matter Day Celebration held at the school. The 10 schools with the next highest number of votes will be awarded runner-up awards of $1,000 each.

Every school has a need, and every kid has a dream. UnityPoint Health is committed to investing in both to create a brighter tomorrow. Whether it’s new computers, more inclusive playground equipment, an interactive garden or a room dedicated to Legos, the possibilities are endless!

“This content is open to all individuals in any location and there are no limits to how many times individuals may vote over the duration of the contest. So please take this opportunity to vote for our local schools,” Havens says.
