Mark and Sheryl Chute, Chelsea, would like to announce the engagement of their son, Brion Chute to Erin Hoffman. The couple plan a May 4 wedding in Sioux City, Iowa.

Erin is the daughter of Terry and Jane Hoffman, of Clarion, Iowa.

Erin is a graduate of Ankeny High School, and the University of Northern Iowa, where she is now working on her masters. She is employed by Kingsley-Pierson, Woodbury Central and Hinton Community Schools.

Brion is a graduate of South Tama County High School, and the University of South Dakota. He works for Vizio in North Sioux City.

They will make their home in Moville, Iowa.
