Lesa Turnquist - Tanner Heckt

David and Laura Turnquist of Alta announce the engagement of their daughter Lesa Turnquist to Tanner Heckt, son of Angela Keese and Bob Heckt of Dysart, Iowa.

Lesa graduated from Alta High School in 2011, and Tanner graduated from Union High School in 2013. The couple met at Buena Vista University where Lesa graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. She is now employed in West Des Moines at Mercy Health and Fitness Center as a Fitness Specialist. Tanner graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and a concentration in marketing. He is now employed in West Des Moines with TekSystems as an IT recruiter.

Their wedding is planned for June 8th, 2019 in West Des Moines at Lutheran Church of Hope with a reception to follow at Holiday Inn Northwest in Urbandale.

There will be a wedding shower for the couple on March 16th at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Alta.
