Rachel and Adam Kirchner

Rachel Brooke Sinn and Adam Robert Kirchner were married July 11, 2015, at the Holiday Inn in downtown Lincoln, NE. with Pastor Gerry Sharp officiating. A reception dinner and dance followed the ceremony at the same location.

Adoptive parents of the couple are Larry and Janet Sinn of Mahaska, Kansas and Mary and the late Richard Kirchner of Toledo, Iowa. Also attending and hosting the rehearsal dinner at the Golden Corral in Lincoln were Rachel’s birth parents Herman and Jean Edwards of San Antonio, Texas.

The bride wore a satin A-Line gown with a split chiffon overlay. The bridal attendants wore short black dresses with sashes of either blue, purple or silver. The groomsmen wore medium gray suits with vests matching the wedding colors.

Leah Harris-Anderson, friend of the couple, served as Best Woman. Bridesmaids were Michelle Dick, sister of the Bride and Kelly Sanders, friend of the Bride. The Groom had his brother, Eric Kirchner as Best Man, with Brian Sinn, brother of the Bride, and Justin Christen, friend of the Groom serving as Groomsmen.

Christina Sanders, Goddaughter of the Bride and Caleb Kirchner, nephew of the Groom, served as Sign Bearers. Serving as ushers were Daniel Edwards, Brother of the Bride, and Derek Anderson and Nic Schweitzer, both friends of the couple. Personal attendants were Lisa Powell, friend of the Bride and Luke Kirchner, nephew of the Groom. Danielle Kidwell, Cousin of the Bride was Greeter.

The Bride is a 2003 graduate of North Central High School in Mahaska, KS and will graduate from Southeast Community College in December with an Associate’s of Applied Science Degree in Computer Information Technology. The Groom is a 1995 graduate of South Tama County High School and is employed at Staybridge Suites.

The couple is at home in Lincoln.
