Cecil and Elva Bearden

Cecil and Elva (Wulff) Bearden observed their 60th Anniversary on Jan. 9. They were married on Jan. 9, 1955, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Tama. A card shower is honoring the couple.

They have three daughters, Barb (Jim) Hazelton, Brenda (Nick) Shafer, and Sandra (Paul) Svacina. They have seven grandchildren, Michael Hazelton, Chris Flott, Jim Bob Shafer, Lance Shafer, Jeff Shafer, Courtney Svacina and Caitlin Svacina, as well as 16 great grandchildren.
