Christa Anne Hoskey and Eric Matthew Slagle were married June 7, 2014, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Centennial, Colorado with the Reverend Andrew Kimberling officiating. A wedding reception followed at the Hyatt Regency in Denver.

The bride is the daughter of Jay and Vickie Hoskey of Brooklyn, Iowa. Grandparents are Richard Hoskey and Marcia DeJong of Muskegon, Michigan and Jean and the late Reuben Richards of Toledo, Iowa.

The groom is the son of Brad and Barb Slagle of Beeler, Kan. His grandparent is Gertrude Slagle of Pratt, Kan.

The bride was escorted by her parents. She wore an ivory satin gown, her sister’s veil and her maternal grandmother’sgold bracelet. She carried a bouquet of multi-colored wildflowers.

The matron of honor was Carrie Siefkas (Hoskey) of Brooklyn, Iowa, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Sheila Stein (Lyon) of Ft. Dodge, Sarah Frundle of Colorado Springs, Colo., Whitney Deane of Marshalltown, Megan McNamara of Reno, Nv. and Lindsey Honemann of Anchorage, Alaska. The flower girl was Julia Slagle of Denver, Colo.

The best woman was Andrea Slagle-Abrams of Topeka, Kan, cousin of the groom. Groomsmen were David Champlin, Castle Rock, Colo, Troy Hoskey, Omaha, Neb., Devon Slagle, Denver, Colo., Doug Green, Parker, Colo., and Andy From, Lone Tree, Colo. The ring bearer was Connor Slagle of Denver, Colo.

The bride is a 2005 South Tama High School graduate, a 2009 Luther College graduate and a 2014 graduate of Creighton University with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. She is currently employed by UMMAM Medical Clinic in Dodge City, Kan.

The groom is a Fort Hays State University graduate with a BS degree in agronomy.

He is the owner of a construction company in Denver, Colo. and farms in Kansas with his father.

Following a honeymoon to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the couple will reside in Dodge City, Kansas.
