Richard “Butch” and Betty Rutledge

Richard “Butch” and Betty Rutledge, Tama will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 27, 2014. Butch Rutledge and the former Betty Buresh were married on June 27, 1964 at St Mary Catholic Church in Vining and have lived in Tama ever since.

The Rutledges have three daughters: Paula (Roger) Eberhart of Montour, Pam (Steve) Fowler of Newman, Ga. and Penny (Robert) Tyynismaa of Tama. They have nine grandchildren: Bryce and Paige Eberhart; Cecile, Riley and Joyce Fowler; Rob, Belle, JoJo and Tommy Tyynismaa.

The Rutledges will celebrate their anniversary with a dance at the Eagles in Tama on Sat., June 28 from 8 p.m.-11 p.m.
