Christa Hoskey and Eric Slagle

Jay and Vickie Hoskey of Brooklyn, Iowa, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Christa Anne to Eric Matthew Slagle, son of Brad and Barb Slagle of Beeler, Kan.

Christa’s grandparents are Richard Hoskey and Marcia DeJong, Muskegon, Mich. and Jean Richards, Toledo. Christa is a 2005 graduate of South Tama County High School and a 2009 graduate of Luther College, where she majored in biology and psychology. She is currently completing her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Creighton University and will graduate in May.

Eric is a graduate of Ness City High School in Ness City, Kan. and of Fort Hays State University, where he majored in agronomy. He is the owner of a construction remodeling company in Denver, Colo.

A June 7, 2014, wedding is planned.

The couple will reside in Denver, Colo.
