Richard and Sherry Benda

Richard and Sherry Benda of Ankeny, will celebrate their 50 th Wedding Anniversary on December 28, 2013.

Richard Benda and Sherry Kopecky were married on December 28, 1963 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Tama by Father John Hussman.

The Benda’s are the parents of Kristin (Mike) Loney, Decorah, Kelly (Steve) Settle, Ankeny, and Kirk Benda, Marshalltown. They also have six grandchildren.

They will celebrate their Anniversary with a family dinner, and plan to travel and visit some of their favorite places.
