On October 5, 2013, Richard and Sheryl Cibula celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Richard Cibula and Sheryl Baker were married at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Vining in 1963.

They are the parents of Cindy (Rusty) Van Dee of rural Chelsea; Joe Cibula of Cedar Rapids; Susan (Jason) Simon of Westfield, New Jersey.

They have 4 granchildren.

The couple celebrated with a family dinner at the Amanas and took a second honeymoon to visit friends in Louisiana.
