Jim and Marilyn Johnson, Chelsea, have recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

There will be an open house in their honor at the Chelsea Community Club, Chelsea, on Sunday, August 11 from 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. hosted by their children and grandchildren. No gifts please, at their request.

Jim & Marilyn (Coleman) were married in the Chelsea Methodist Church on June 29, 1963.

They are the parents of Jackie (Tom) Dvorak, Chelsea, Jeff Johnson, Chelsea, Kevin Johnson, Belle Plaine, and Stephanie (Patrick) Dowden, Council Bluffs. Their grandchildren are Ashley (Jesus) Castanon, Brooklyn and Clarissa Dvorak, Kara, Nick and Kurt Johnson, Laura and Tyler Johnson, and Connor Dowden.
