Jimmy Gillespie and Rachel Wynia

Ken and Mary Wynia of Holland, Mich., announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Wynia, to Jimmy Gillispie, of Tama, Iowa.

The future bride is a 2008 graduate of Holland Christian High School, Holland, Mich. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish from Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa. She is currently employed at Ace Hardware in Tama.

The future groom is the son of William Gillispie, of Baldwin City, Kan., and Valita Evans, of Lawrence, Kan. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications from Baker University in Baldwin City. He is currently the sports editor for the Tama News-Herald and Toledo Chronicle in Tama.

The couple plan a July 6, 2013 wedding at the John Ernest Vineyard and Winery in Tama.
