Betty and Arnold Chantland

Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Chantland of Toledo celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with their family at a dinner in the Amana Colonies.

They were married on Sept. 7, 1952, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa.

Donna Polka (Smith) was the maid of honor and Gilbert Chantland was the best man.

The couple have three children, Nancy Lenz of Minneapolis, Minn., Carol Nicklaus and husband, David, of St. Louis, Mo., and Susan Chantland and husband, Jack Petersen, of Des Moines.

They have nine grandchildren, Jason and wife Ashley, David and wife Lyz, Matthew and Michelle Lenz; Brian, Laura, and Megan Nicklaus; and Sam and Joe Petersen. They have three great- grandchildren, Cooper, Beckett, and Ellis Lenz.
