Luann Jackson and Gene Slingluff

Luann Jackson and Gene Slingluff, Beaman, are announcing their engagement. An Oct. 2 wedding at the Garwin United Methodist Church is planned.

Parents of the couple are Roger and Karen Jackson, Garwin and the late Richard and Waneta Slingluff, Marshalltown.

Luann teaches preschool at the Meskwaki Settlement School and Gene is employed by the City of Marhshalltown as a maintenance electrician.
