The annual Iowa vs. Iowa State Game Day Ball Exchange is this week.

Members of the University of Iowa and Iowa State University ROTC will be starting their run at the Lincoln Highway Bridge Park on Friday, September 13. They will run through Tama and arrive at the STC Elementary around 11:55 a.m. The ROTC groups will run through the building to high five students.

They will then finish their morning at the Tama-Toledo Country Club for lunch. This is the end of a relay by both teams from their campus to the exchange point in Tama.

The exchange has been tradition for many years, and has been hosted by the local I-Club.

The UI ROTC also makes stops in Williamsburg, Marengo, and Belle Plaine before coming to Tama.
