A new initiative to welcome South Tama County incoming freshman has begun. That initiative is the 8th Grade Football Signing Day.

South Tama County Trojan football coaches Nate Doran, Danny Mayo and Justin Suchanek welcomed students and families to a meeting held on Wednesday, May 29.

Following the parent meeting students who are ready to commit to the STC?Football program signed a commitment form, shook hands with the head coach and had their picture taken.

The nine boys were welcomed to the Trojan football family by the coaches and high school players.

The Trojans began 7 on 7 practice Sunday night which will continue every Tuesday and Sunday throughout the summer.
