Individually, South Tama placed eight of their wrestlers in the tournament. The Trojans had one champion in Colton Vest (138). Three others, Brady Fritz (126), Tanner Probasco (132) and Isaac Judge (152) finished as runner-up.

STC’s Brady Fritz took 2nd to Solon’s top ranked Drew West. The 126 Championship bout was a rematch for the two as they tangled in December during the STC Invitational. Fritz lost that match 15-4 Major decision but wrestled much better at WaMaC, taking West to a 1-0 decision finish with West once again the victor.

STC’s Isaac Judge (152) also faced a Class 3A wrestler, Colin Conway from Marion. Judge took second to Conway after an 8-4 decision win by Conway. This was another championship rematch as Judge took a 10-6 decision win against Conway back in December. Thus far, Conway has only posted losses against Class 2A top ranked Joe Kelly (West Liberty) and second ranked Judge.
