Market Report for May 18, 2018

Finally the weather was wonderful for the Toledo Farmers’ Market. With the smell of kettle corn in the air, customers lined up at their favorite vendor’s tables waiting for the sound of the whistle to start the market. The Back Yonder Boys were playing some music on the North end of market. Everyone seems to enjoy a little music. Next week they should be back. They welcome anyone that would like to join in and jam with them.

Kristi had plenty of her Czech bakeries, along with asparagus and rhubarb.

April Steinford owner and creator of American Sweetheart Kreations had some awesome produce bags and tye dyed bandanas.

Chuck and Ginger brought beautiful vases of blooming Iris. They also had Gingers bakery, popcorn, hot pepper powder, nut meats, and honey.

Dawn had plenty of asparagus, rhubarb, jams, dried herbs, houseplants, and soup mixes.

Sheryl had her array of ceramics, scrubbies, hand towels, aprons, clothing protectors, football lights, and more.

The Dragon Wagon, which is owned and operated by Terry and Beckey Anderson, made the aroma of the kettle corn fill the air. It was so delicious.

Jim was back under the pine tree with his handmade leather items. He had purses, belts, bags, hair clips, wallets, and holsters.

Scenic Company was set up with their reclaimed wood pieces. The grain of the wood is absolutely beautiful.

Joe and Barb had bread, cookies, pens, pies, granola, and crisps.

Janet had eggs, banana, and poppy seed bread. And her delicious caramel rolls.

Gail and William from The Bunny Farm had 25 plus kinds of heirloom and tomato transplants, peppers, and wild flowers. They also had gluten free baked goods and yeast breads.

Flower and Birds Yard Art had their beautiful plate art set up on the North end of market.
