The Stoplight Festival will be on Friday, July 8 at 4 to 9 p.m. on the courthouse square.

The Wieting Theatre Guild will be participating by having the dunk tank. We will run it from 4-6 p.m. The guild will also have some other things lined up. More about this some other time.

I understand there will be some class reunions also that day. Also the farmers market will be held 5-7 p.m.

There are 3 bands that will play on the bandstand. They are: 5-6 Maleks’s Fisherman Band, playing polka music, 5:15-7:15 Kat and Hala (Paul Hala of Peppertree) local entertainers and Inner Lite of Marshalltown, playing 70’s, 80’s and 90’s music. Sounds like music for everyone.
