Here’s What’s Happening at the Tama County Historical Museum

The next work day will be Mon., March 17.

Last work day was spent working on program booklet, making curtain for the new dining room and putting things away. Did not get to the acquisitions for many came in this past winter.

The Museum was closed for 2 and half months and will be opening again in March starting on Tuesday the 4th. Please check and see if is open on the stormy days or schools are canceled.

And Now You Know……A pump manufactory was operated in Tama in 1875 by Cyrus King and in 1910 pumps were being made by Kenyon Pressed Steel pump company.
