Who is the most famous mother of all? It’s an extensive list of notable women who’ve left their footprint on humanity and qualify for such fame. Some might say that it is Mary, the mother of Jesus. Or other most famous mothers might include Mother Teresa of Calcutta, Nobel Prize winner Marie Curie, Marie Queen of Scots, etc.

On the flip side, there are a few women who may have been incredibly famous, but for noxious reasons. Take Martha Jane Cannary who tried to be a good mother but became a transient, hooligan, dance hall girl, drunk and brawler, frequently ending up in jail, for Martha Jane was no less than “Calamity Jane!” Then there’s Kate Barker who taught her sons to rob banks, kidnap, and murder. She’s known as “Ma” Barker!

But I believe you and I have a mother in mind that easily rises above all mothers. And her name? Well, we all call her “Mom!” She’s the loving, caring, understanding mom who raised us. My mother taught me about how much Jesus loves me. She’s gone now… resting in Jesus, and I’ll join her some day! How about you? Call your mom! Wish her a Happy Mother’s Day!
