Kathy Holtz is qualified to serve as Tama County Treasurer

After studying Accounting at the University of Iowa, and decades of work experience, Kathy Holtz has the necessary education and qualifications to serve taxpayers well as our next Tama County Treasurer. She’s customer-focused. Professional. Dedicated to excellence.

And Kathy Holtz is free of the concerning conflict of interest that the other candidate, Amanda Kriegel, carries. Amanda Kriegel was hand-picked as Acting Treasurer by the Tama County Supervisors, who employs her mother, Tammy Wise, as their HR and Insurance Administrator.

Nepotism needs to end in the Tama County government. Vote to end it in the Treasurer’s office by casting your vote for a genuinely independent candidate, Kathy Holtz, as you vote in the November 8 general election.

Candidate Amanda Kriegel is the daughter of longtime Tama County HR and Insurance Administrator Tammy Wise. Tama County Supervisors appointed Amanda Kriegel as acting Treasurer just before the June primary, ignoring the conflict of interest it presents when a mother handles the County’s personnel matters and her daughter manages County funds. It just doesn’t add up. Tama County taxpayers deserve better when it comes to the choice for Tama County Treasurer.

You can end this nepotism and conflict of interest by casting your vote for the most qualified candidate to lead the Tama County Treasurer’s office, Kathy Holtz.

Kathy studied accounting at the University of Iowa and has decades of proven work experience and community leadership. Cast your vote for the truly independent candidate most qualified to serve as your Tama County Treasurer, Kathy Holtz.
