“Is President Obama now just the President of Chicago?”
Letter to the Editor:
I generally watch the FOX News Channel, but Shepard Smith is not my kind of guy, so I turn the station to CNBC when Smith is on, to watch Larry Kudlow on the Kudlow Report. Here’s a good reason why. Tonight, Kudlow asked the question after the President failed to get the Olympics for Chicago in 2016, “Is President Obama now just the President of Chicago?” Great question!
Obama shot himself in the foot, if not the head, by spending very precious presidential capital on a fool’s errand. He took his wife with him. Together, they embarrassed the U.S. and themselves by kowtowing to the Olympic panjandrums, and then they lost … big time. Didn’t even make the podium with a third place.
The exceedingly left-wing dominant media is in shock, as is the White House. They should be. This is a pissant issue, and Obama turned it into a major league showdown on the world stage.
Today’s Olympics decision was a major catharsis for the media and the Left. They reap what they sow. Unfortunately, we all get what they sow.
We can only “hope” that the “change” Obama is making doesn’t muck up the rest of his time in office as badly as he has the last couple of days. American lives and livelihoods are depending on the President of the United States, not the President of Chicago.
