After hitting snooze on the alarm once or twice, the week got started on Tuesday instead of Monday, with Labor Day giving everyone a late start to the week. The Tama County Supervisors’ meeting kicked off a day late, with only a few items on the agenda. Two utility permits, and both of them were approved with little discussion.

The roads report stated they were spraying, hydro-seeding, and mowing amongst other work.

Non-Departmental claims of $10,097.69 and regular claims of $62,114.28 were approved.
