Over the past 32 years, the South Tama Scholarship Foundation has awarded over $1,500,000 to more than 1,800 graduating seniors. These scholarships are possible through the continued generosity of South Tama businesses, civic organizations, STC staff, and alumni.

The foundation also provides financial support for adults in the STC community wishing to enroll in continuing education classes. In order to qualify for these scholarships, applicants must enroll in an eligible educational institution. These are defined as a school offering higher education beyond high school. It includes any college, university, vocational school, or other post-secondary educational institution eligible to participate in a federal student aid program run by the U.S. Department of Education.
