Child vaccine clinics to be held at IJH

Tama County Public Health (TCPH) have begun holding their first child vaccine clinics for kids ages 5-11 to receive the COVID-19 vaccination.

The doses made available to TCPH are the Pfizer vaccines.

Families are asked to call ahead to set an appointment for one of the clinic times if they wish to have their child receive the vaccine.

The TCPH clinics are all taking place at the Iowa Juvenile Home facility in Toledo.

Below is the upcoming TCPH vaccine clinic schedule:

Friday, Dec. 10: Children ages 5-11, 12-4 p.m.

Wednesday, Dec. 15: Adults 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Children ages 5-11 2-4 p.m.

Wednesday Dec. 29: Children ages 5-11, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Wednesday Jan. 5: Children ages 5-11, 12-4 p.m.

Friday, Jan. 7: Children ages 5-11, 12-4 p.m.
