The annual Tama-Toledo Christmas holiday community event organized by the Tama-Toledo Chamber of Commerce is set to return for 2021.

The theme for this year’s event is Country Christmas on the Farm. Mark you calendars and plan to join the community to get in the holiday spirit on Saturday, Nov. 20.

The Lighted Holiday Parade will also be returning as part of the festivities this year. Local or area businesses and organizations are encouraged to participate with any holiday-themed parade entries. No pre-registration is needed. Parade line-up will take place at 4:45 p.m. at the STC Middle School in Toledo. The parade will take a short route down High Street and will conclude near the Toledo Post Office.

The following is a schedule of events for the upcoming Tama-Toledo Christmas event.

– Vendor Fair at the South Tama High School — Sponsored by the After Prom Committee, $5.00 Admission

– Holiday Crafts at the Toledo Library

– Christmas Movie at the Movie Theater in Toledo. Admission to the movie is FREE! The movie will be Jack Frost. Sponsored by Appraisal & Real Estate Services, Jason and Mandy Lekin.

4:45 PM

– Line-up for the Lighted Parade at the South Tama Middle School

5:00 PM

– Lighted Holiday Parade starting at Middle School going down High Street in Toledo by the Flaming Office.

– Lighting of the Christmas Tree on the Bandstand at the Toledo Courthouse.
