The ban on burning certain types of yard waste was lifted by the Tama City?Council on

Oct. 7.

Burning is allowed until Nov. 4 except on Halloween- Oct. 31. The dumpster north of the Tama Civic Center is available for grass and leaves deposit only.

The council set Trick or Treat hours from 5- 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31.
