The Practical Nursing diploma programs at Marshalltown Community College and Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls have been ranked the No. 2 Top Accredited LPN Program in Iowa for 2018 by TopNursing.org.

The TopNursing.org rankings, released last month, are based on a methodology that includes NCLEX-PN exam passage rates, financial aid available to nursing students, and number of students in the nursing program. Additional factors in the selection process were well-developed architecture, better infrastructure, superior technology, ranking in U.S. News & World Report, teachings offered by world-class faculty, inclusion of world-class facilities, and world-class opportunities for students and graduates.

Helena Parker of TopNursing.org, who announced the rankings, said, “We need to mention that the main purpose of our ranking is to help students, parents, professionals, and web visitors find the best nursing schools in the state of Iowa. We wish you a hearty congratulation on your achievements”
