Happy 2018!

The library had an eventful 2017 with many new items added to the collection for our community to check out. Many new patrons are added each week and library usage is strong with the meeting room being utilized and programs being held. The library’s mission is “to provide free and equal access to a variety of materials and resources for personal enrichment and to be an advocate in the community for lifelong learning”.

Let 2018 be a year of expanding your horizons and learning new things! Do you want to set up an e-mail account? Would you like to become more computer literate? How about setting up a social media account? Need to FAX, print, scan or make copies? Are you interested in attending a history program or participating in an art event? How about researching your past.. We can help.

Our library staff are here for you. No question is too silly for us. All requests are important. You can set up a time with a staff member to get one-on-one assistance or we can work with you on an on-going basis (with appointment).

New fiction to the shelves are: Now that you Mention it, by Kristan Higgins; Unbound by Stuart Woods; Robicheaux by James Lee Burke; Promise Not to Tell by Jayne Ann Krentz and The Wanted by Robert Crais; Pieces of Happiness by Anne Ostby; Breaking Silence by Linda Castillo; The Orphan’s Tale by Pam Jenoff and Boomer’s Bucket List by Sue Pethick.

New Non-fiction are: Endurance by Scott Kelly; Craig & Fred by Craig Grossi; Sister’s First-Stories from our Wild and Wonderful Life by Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Pierce Bush and Killing England The Brutal Struggle for American Independence by Bill O’Reilly and Martin Dugard.

New movies for January are: Leap, Pirates of the Caribbean-Dead Men Tell no Tales, Now you See Me 2, That thing you Do, Stick Man and The Gruffalo.
