Busy summer, lots of fall library activities coming at Toledo Library
TOLEDO CHRONICLE-The Toledo Library was a busy place this summer with preschool story time, Crafty Wednesdays in June, Digital Literacy workshops and the Summer Reading Program all going on.
Fall will soon be upon us and that means Early Out events, more computer classes, Annual Book Sale and an Iowa Author Event.
The library will host 17 early out craft programs for our school age kids. Come visit the library and pick up a copy of the Annual Calendar of Events or print it off from our website www.toledo.lib.ia.us.
We request that kids sign up in advance for these fun programs. Join Sandy Krough, Iowa Works Advisor for a Digital Literacy computer workshop to be held on Friday, Oct. 14 from 1-2:30 p.m.
Come to the class with at least one thing you would like to learn to do and Sandy will do her best to help you out.
The library will once again hold the Annual Book Sale in October and November. The sale will have a variety of materials; books, books on cassette & CD, DVDs and magazines. Fill a bag for a donation. All donations go back into the library to help purchase new materials. Tell your friends!
