TAMA NEWS-HERALD- The Tama Toledo Area Chamber of Commerce has the “Back to School Blues” and on August 19th will have a jean day at business’ that chose to participate. Employees of a participating Chamber business will donate $5.00 each for the opportunity to wear jeans for the day to work. All money collected will go toward the purchase of school supplies for STC Elementary.

In addition, the public has an opportunity to donate to this worthy cause by using the donation drop boxes that will be placed at both locations of State Bank of Toledo, Home Federal and LSB. The drop boxes will be in place through the 19th.

The school is especially in need of spiral notebooks, #2 pencils and crayons. Keep that in mind when you do your back to school shopping and pick up a few extras for the donation drop box. Monetary donations will also be accepted at all drop box locations, and used along with the jean money to purchase supplies for the school.
