Big things are happening at State Bank of Toledo (SBT)! The bank has officially broken ground on an addition to their existing South Bank location. Located at 1003 S County Road, the new addition will include additional private offices, a conference and meeting space and a designated entrance and space for Tama County Investment Services, including a lobby area and private offices. Along with the addition to the existing South Bank, a larger parking lot will be added to the east of the building.
“This expansion is all about our customers and team members,” said John Kavalier, State Bank of Toledo President. “We’ve been proud to serve our community for almost 98 years now, and as our community and team grows, we want to grow right along with it.”
“Over the past several years, Tama County Investment Services has seen significant growth in both our client base and the range of services we provide,” said Brian Sokol, Financial Advisor. “The expansion of our wealth management office reinforces our commitment to delivering high-quality, personalized service with a client-first approach — and it positions us to continue building new relationships well into the future.”
The new addition is another sign of State Bank of Toledo’s ongoing investment in the community. Even further, each contractor working on the project is a local Tama County business, a reflection of SBT’s commitment to growing strong hometown roots.
“We’re not just building more space — we’re building for the future. More room for collaboration and an even higher level of personalized service,” said Kavalier.
Construction is expected to be completed by end of year, and customers will continue to have full access to all services throughout the project at South Bank. All services will remain business as usual at our Main Bank location during construction and beyond.
