The State Bank of Toledo has power in numbers. The State Bank of Toledo is what community is all about. Their 25 employees blanket the community with their various volunteer efforts. The State Bank of Toledo made a monetary donation to the South Tama County Food Pantry for $1,710. The money was raised through the Blue Jean Friday contributions where the employees pay $5 to wear jeans two Fridays per month throughout the year.

In the past we have raised money for Tama Public Library, Toledo Public Library, Kids Corner Daycare, Tama County Humane Society and Tama County 4-H. The bank employees not only donate monetarily to these entities but the also donate their time to volunteer in various capacities.

They have helped feed animals and clean at the Humane Society, read books and presented programs at the libraries, spent time with the children at the daycare and helped out at the Tama County Fair hosting games for the 4-H groups. Despite the pandemic precautions throughout the past year the employees of the State Bank of Toledo logged nearly 1,150 volunteer hours within the community. The employees have chosen Adopt-A-Family as their charity for the 2022 calendar year.
