Trio promoted at The State Bank of Toledo

The Board of Directors along with President and CEOJohnKavalier have announced the promotions of Lesa Haughey, Chris Nelson, and Carrie Keenan as Lenders.

Lesa Haughey joined State Bank of Toledo in 2002. She is a 2018 graduate of Buena Vista University with a degree in Finance and Banking.

Lesa and her husband Aaron reside in Tama and have 3 children, Brycelyn, Morgan, and Adam. Lesa’s responsibilities include customer service, all aspects of the lending function, specializing in quality control and collateral management.

Lesa volunteers at the Wieting Theatre, and annually serves community needs through Adopt a Family. Lesa currently serves as the Treasurer for After Prom. Previously, Lesa has coached AAU volleyball and served on both the STC REC Board and Kids Corner Daycare Board.

Chris Nelson marks her fourth year at State Bank of Toledo. Her 19 years of banking experience have given her knowledge in all areas of banking and customer service that will serve her well in lending. Chris and her husband live in Tama and have three grown children: Blake, Brandon, & Bri. Chris has attended Iowa Banker’s Compliance School and Consumer Lending School. Chris is the Treasurer of the T-T Chamber of Commerce and enjoys volunteering in the community.

Carrie Keenan will assume her new duties in approving credit card lines. The State Bank of Toledo offers credit cards to consumers seeking the convenience of revolving credit. Carrie has been employed by State Bank of Toledo since 2000.

She and her husband John have two sons: James and Jack. Carrie is a graduate of Buena Vista University with a degree in Accounting.

Carrie is the founder and remains active in the Tama County Area Dyslexia Support Group.

Carrie’s duties include customer service, managing the accounts payable, handling debit card renewals, and assisting in proof processing.
