Magnify Farm

Financial Management Tool

Tara Pralle of Farm Credit Services of America (FCSA) will share with us on Magnify Farm Financial Management Tool.

In today’s ag environment, it’s essential to know costs and break-even points in order to help find and grow profit. Besides its recordkeeping functions, Magnify is a built-for-agriculture software that can generate a variety of financial management reports that can help farmers better manage their operations. Tara is FCSA’s Magnify Territory Manager for Central Iowa and has worked at FCSA since 2006. She was born into a farming family in Franklin County and currently farms in her home area with her husband. Tara’s an Iowa State University (ISU) graduate, majoring in Agricultural Business and minoring in Communication Studies.

Our evening’s second speaker is Kelvin Leibold, who is an Iowa State graduate in Agricultural Education. He serves as ISU Extension and Outreach’s Farm Management Specialist in north-central Iowa. Kelvin specializes in several areas including agricultural law and income tax management, crop / livestock economics, estate planning and farm succession.

An RSVP is preferred by March 24 by phoning Mel at 641-484-2702, ext. 305 or by emailing her at melody.bro@ia.nacdnet.net.

This event is free and open to the general public, both women and men.
