Tyler Slagle

Tyler Slagle grew up in Tama, Iowa and has remained close to the community even after his years in college. Now he will be even closer to the community that he knows and loves. Slagle was recently hired by Mike Wedmore and Wedmore Realty to come aboard as a realtor.

Slagle graduated from South Tama County High School in 2004. He is the son of Jeff Slagle (married to Ronee Slagle) and Kelle Boles (married to Milo Boles). He attended Marshalltown Community College where he received an Associates Degree in Education. He then received his B.A. in Human Services from Iowa State University and a Masters in Leadership from Drake University. Slagle is married to Kara Slagle. The two have a three year old daughter and are expecting another baby girl in late January.

Slagle currently works for MCC as an Academic Advisor and has no current plans to leave that position. He stays close to the Tama-Toledo community by working with several students including STC graduates in his current role at the college.

Late last spring an opportunity presented itself to work with Wedmore Realty. Slagle will be helping people coming into town as well as helping people in town with finding homes.

Slagle who himself is reaching the age where people are looking to settle down and grow their families is looking forward to working with people who are seeking to purchase a home. “I am excited to work with individuals and families in or around the Tama/Toledo area when it comes to their real estate needs,” said Slagle.
