Shopko manager Robin Ortiz and assistant manager Wayne Cook presented the Tama-Toledo Area Chamber of Commerce Christmas Kickoff Committee with a sponsorship of $250 toward the “Home for the Holidays A Community Christmas Kickoff event scheduled for Nov. 19.

Committee members are encouraging the entire community to mark their calendars for this epic event! The main attraction will be the Ice Rink located just east of the courtyard square. They are also encouraging businesses, organizations, and families to create an entry for the lighted parade while the weather remains comfortable. Parade theme is “Party at the North Pole.” Line-up begins at 4:30PM at the Middle School with the parade starting at 5PM.
