Sunday, August 4th 57 descendants of Joseph and Anna Dostal, who came from Kingdom of Bohemia Czechoslovakia, attended the Dostal reunion. Attends were from Washington, Oregon, Texas, Arizona, South Dakota, Minnesota, Illinois as well as all over Iowa. Reva Dostal, at age 95, was the oldest in attendance. Everyone enjoyed the banquet of Czech themed food and desserts.

The afternoon was spent playing bingo with many homemade prizes. Door prizes were won by Rex Nekola that was a canvas wall hanging with a saying about family and Ella Kopsa’s was a candy bouquet.

This year”s reunion was co-hosted by Alan Dostal and Becky (Dostal) Faircloth.

Volunteering to co-host next year’s reunion is Nancy Dostal, Randy Dostal and Monica (Thoms) Lihs.
