The descendants of the late Clyde and Clara Feisel met for their 36th annual Feisel family reunion on Sunday, July 27, 2014 a Toledo Heights Park. There were 89 in attendance.

A Potluck was served at noon. The day was spent visiting and taking pictures. The children enjoyed the playground equipment and chose three toys each of the array of toys, books, games, school supplies, etc. The adults were each given a token gift. There was also the “Candy Guess Game,” where everyone could guess the number of pieces of candy in each of three jars. The winners were Cathy Durkop, Ron Reisel and Ashley Lorenz.

There was a display of last years group pictures and pictures of new additions to the family. In the past year there was one marriage and four births.

Birth: Evelyn Rose Runyan, July 23, 2014. Parents: Scott Runyan and Leah Morrison. Grandparents: Gary and Janet (Scott) Runyan. Great Grandparents: Gordon and Ruth (Feisel) Scott.

On Saturday night, July 26, several of the family gathered at the Meskwaki Hotel where some were staying for a “pre-reunion, reunion”. Snacks were served, games played and lots of visiting.

The 37 reunion will be held the last Sunday in July 2015.
