The annual reunion of the desendents of Martin and Marie Stanek Cibula was held Sunday, July 28, 2013 at the State Bank of Toledo Community Room in Toledo. Charles and Dolores Vesely and Eugene and Mary Cibula hosted the event.

Thirty-four members enjoyed the potluck at noon. A business meeting was held after the meal.

Door prizes were awarded to Lillian Wacha, Carrie Cibula, Gary Upah, Eric McElroy, Lawrence Cibula, Angela Conrad, Phyllis Hosek, John Runyan, Arlo Cibula, J.P. Golinvaux, Duane Podhajsky and Cheryl Cibula.

Memories were shared of past generations followed with entertainment by Cheryl Cibula on her accordian with a sing-along. Vicki McElroy and Bunny Cibula accompanied Cheryl with the tamborine. The remainder of the afternoon was spent visiting.

P. Golinvaux and Cheryl Cibula of Des Moines; John and Kathleen Runyan of Urbandale; Stan and Sharon Wacha, Joe Cibula all of Cedar Rapids; Eric McElroy of Marion; Gary Upah of Kansas City; Drew and Angela Conrad of Waterloo.

Hosts for the 2014 reunion will be Richard and Phyllis Hosek and Delores Posusta, with the date and place determined by them.
