On May 2, fraternalists and non-fraternalist came together for “Join Hands Day” to make a difference in their communities through helpful projects that connect youth and adults. This gives fraternal benefit to societies and connect generations and develop new relationships. The youth learn the value of volunteering and the value of working within a group to accomplish worthwhile tasks. The community will also be improved by the project. It was a fun and rewarding day. The First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association, The Women Foresters and the Knights of Columbus met at St. Paul Catholic Church in Traer to plant fourteen pots of flowers.
