On Friday, Jan. 26 the community is invited to the STC Roundhouse for Throwback Night as the South Tama high school girls and boys basketball teams host Vinton-Shellsburg. Between the girls and boys varsity games, there will be a dedication of a plaque made to honor STC alum and Meskwaki Nation member Adolph Bear as the creator of the South Tama Trojan Head emblem.

As part of the celebration, we’re asking fans to come decked out in their best “South Tama” outfit. Trojan Country will be giving away prizes for best dressed categories including “Most School Spirit” and “Best Vintage South Tama Gear” along with giveaway drawings throughout the night. The STC Throwback t-shirt and sweatshirt sale that was circulating online last week will be open for orders again now through Feb. 1.
