CEDAR FALLS — The Meskwaki volleyball team spoiled senior night for Valley Lutheran and secured its first win of the 2023 season on Monday, taking down the Crusaders in straight sets, 27-25, 25-20, 25-13.

The Warriors (1-15) prevailed in the matchup of two previously winless teams. Statistics were not available at presstime. Meskwaki will travel to Twin Cedars for a match on Monday before facing Valley Lutheran (0-12) again Tuesday, this time at home, and traveling to North Tama on Thursday.
